If your looking for a fun event to benefit a good cause, the New Windsor Fire Department encourages you to visit Flood Zone Marketplace and Brewery between Wednesday July 17th and Sunday July 21st for the mini anchored boat parade that benefits both the New Windsor and Union Bridge Fire Departments.
The New Windsor Fire Department is entering a boat in this year's event to honor the 80th Anniversary of "D Day" and charter member Charles Ecker who participated in the assault on Utah Beach on June 6, 1944. Please be on the look out for our story on Charter Member Charles Ecker service to the county next week.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 17TH- BOAT LAUNCH DAY:DJs Matt & Taylor are kicking off the event with a Boat Launch Party at 4:30pm.
JULY 17-21: Check out the tentative Boat Week Schedule (attached). Patrons can vote for your boat by cash or credit card 📣 They can add a vote when closing their tab, just remind them to write the boat number on their receipt and drop it in the voting slot! You can also obtain voting donations online from those who cannot attend. There will be a link to donate posted on our website beginning Wednesday. www.floodzonebrewery.com/boatparade Drum up those votes!!
DUNK BOOTH: Thursday through Saturday during scheduled times. $20 for 5 balls.

FRIDAY, JULY 19TH - CAPTAIN RECOGNITION on the Flood Stage at 7:00pm.
SUNDAY, JULY 21ST- VOTING ENDS at 3:15PM. WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT 4:00PM immediately following the arrival of the fire trucks and bagpiper. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced for the boats who raise the most money in sponsors and votes. Followed by the competition between the fire departments, awarding the Agnes Cup! Boats can be removed immediately following (prior to 7pm). |
