On January 29th, 2025 at 11:28 units were dispatched to Box Alarm 14-3 in the 2100 blk of Timothy Dr for the house fire. Engine 101 and Brush 105 responded on the initial dispatch. Engine 141 arrived to find a 2 story single family with smoke showing from and confirmed a working fire on the 1st floor. Engine 101 arrived and stretched a backup line before being assigned as the initial RIC while the driver assisted with water supply. Engine 101 eventually took over as Division 1 (1st Floor), knocking hot spots and checking for extension. Brush 105 setup a fill site for the tankers. Paramedic 109 and Engine 102 were added to the run as part of the Rapid Intervention Dispatch. Units operated on scene for a little over an hour before clearing.
Upon clearing Timothy Dr, Engine 101 was added to Box 1-15 in the unit block of Grimes Ct in Mt Airy. Montgomery County Engine 713 (filling in Station 1) arrived to find a middle of the row townhouse with fire showing from the 2nd floor and attic on side C (rear of the structure). Engine 101 arrived as the third due engine and established a secondary water supply. The crew from Engine 101 checked the neighboring houses for fire spread and operated on scene an hour before clearing.
